A proven business strategist and successful entrepreneur with over 30 years of deep and broad business experience, Mick is well known throughout the rental, equipment, and pump and power industries. Prior to SteelPoint (formerly MMDi), Mick was a co-founder and chief operating officer of an equipment rental and service business that grew quickly to become such an integral and strategic partner of a large big-box rental company, that it was eventually purchased and integrated into that enterprise. In 2010, Mick left the company he helped create to buy one of its small vendors as a turnaround opportunity, renaming it MMDi, and immediately restructuring and growing the company from 20 employees with 90% of its revenue from one customer to its current size of over 50 employees and an impressive “A’ list of OEM and large rental customers. Mick got his undergraduate degree from London Metropolitan University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Wake Forest University and a Master of Arts from the University of South Carolina.

With more than 35 years of legal and business experience, Deborah is responsible for numerous front and mid-office functions for the company including human resources, risk management, legal, compliance, safety, and facilities management for SteelPoint. After retiring from a long career in the energy industry, providing strategic legal and business advice to senior management of three publicly traded companies, she joined her husband at MMDi (now SteelPoint) to prepare the company for the extraordinary growth they are now experiencing. Deborah earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Winthrop University.

A Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years of combined experience in public accounting and the manufacturing industry. Specializing in providing timely and accurate financial reporting, defining and developing accounting processes and improving reporting efficiencies. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Accounting from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.

A 53 year veteran in the steel manufacturing industry, Ed managed the manufacturing side of SteelPoint and its predecessors from 2001 until 2017. Ed’s depth and breadth of experience is invaluable to SteelPoint and includes almost 20 years in the light tower industry. Ed now leads the company’s growing engineering and new product development team and also shoulders a significant role in ensuring the company’s dedication to customer service excellence.

With over ten years of manufacturing experience in the metal fabrication industry, Chris assumed responsibility for SteelPoint’s production floor in 2017. During his first four years with the company, he led SteelPoint’s planning function where he developed a complex material requirements planning tool and implemented numerous process improvements. Chris has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Stephen Myers is a seasoned service leader with a knack for driving relationships and growth. Coming from an industrial account management background and driven by excellence, he takes pride in providing the best service possible to SteelPoint’s existing and new clients. As Sales & Customer Care Manager, his goals include achieving organic business growth and superior customer attention. Stephen is a North Carolina native and a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
